With Ruta Kahate, health and taste have always gone together • Here at Ruta’s Fresh Indian Fare, she focuses on delicious regional foodways • She has owned several restaurants and a cooking school, hosted culinary tours to India, and written 3 cookbooks that focus on simple, healthy Indian cooking • Prior to MKE, Ruta lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area, and in Goa, India.
